Biocide (Preventol D12)

In-Can Biocide is a specialized additive based on a blend of isothiazolinones (BIT/MIT/CIT) designed to protect water-based industrial products from biological spoilage. Water-based paints, primers, glues, and polymer dispersions are ideal breeding grounds for bacteria, mold, and yeast, which can ruin the product (gas formation, foul odor, separation). Adding a biocide guarantees microbiological stability throughout the shelf life. Our preservative offers broad-spectrum activity, is effective at low dosages (0.1-0.2%), and is compatible with most formulations. It is formaldehyde-free and does not affect the physical properties of the paint (color, viscosity). Suitable for use in coatings, household chemicals, cutting fluids, and the paper industry.
