Dispersant (Sodium salt of polycarboxylic acid) is a functional additive necessary for the effective wetting and dispersing of dry pigments and fillers (chalk, titanium dioxide, calcite) in aqueous systems. It prevents particle agglomeration (clumping), ensuring a homogeneous, stable suspension. Using a dispersant allows for a significant reduction in the viscosity of chalk pastes, increases the solid content in the paint, and improves coating properties such as gloss, opacity, and color development. The product prevents pigment settling during long-term storage. It is effective over a wide range of pH and temperatures. Widely used in the production of water-based paints, varnishes, plasters, as well as in the paper and ceramic industries.
