Potassium Carbonate

Potassium Carbonate (Potash) is a white crystalline powder with strong alkaline properties. In construction, Potash is one of the most powerful antifreeze admixtures for concrete and mortars, allowing work to continue at temperatures down to -25°C. It significantly accelerates cement setting and lowers the freezing point of the liquid phase. In the glass industry, it is used in the melting of heat-resistant, optical, and crystal glass, improving transparency and brilliance. It is also used in the production of liquid soaps, fertilizers, textiles, and as a gas purification reagent. Potash is highly hygroscopic and deliquesces in air, requiring storage in airtight containers. We supply premium grade product with minimal impurities.
