SLES 70% (Sodium Laureth Sulfate)

Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES 70%) is the industry-standard anionic surfactant used globally in the production of personal care and household cleaning products. It is renowned for its exceptional foaming properties, creating a rich, stable lather even in hard water conditions where other surfactants might fail. SLES serves as the primary cleansing agent in shampoos, shower gels, liquid hand soaps, and dishwashing liquids due to its excellent emulsifying and wetting capabilities. One of its key manufacturing advantages is the ability to easily build viscosity (thicken) using simple inorganic salts like Sodium Chloride, making it highly cost-effective for mass production. Compared to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), SLES is much milder on the skin and eyes, making it suitable for family and baby care formulations. The product is biodegradable and environmentally friendly when treated in standard wastewater systems.
