Trilon B (EDTA-2NA, 4NA)

Trilon B (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid salt, EDTA) is a white crystalline powder and one of the most effective chelating agents available. Its primary function is to sequester calcium, magnesium, and heavy metal ions into stable, soluble complexes. This property makes EDTA indispensable in detergent manufacturing, where it prevents precipitation and enhances the foaming and cleaning action of surfactants. In the power generation industry, it is used for chemical cleaning of boilers and pipes to remove scale and rust deposits. In cosmetics, EDTA preserves product stability, color, and fragrance by preventing oxidation caused by trace metals. It is also utilized in electroplating, textile processing, rubber production, and analytical chemistry. We supply both Disodium (acidic pH) and Tetrasodium (alkaline pH) salts.
