PVC-S SG5 SG3

Suspension Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-S), available in grades SG-5 and SG-3, is a high-volume thermoplastic polymer in the form of a white powder. PVC is known for its durability, chemical resistance, and fire-retardant properties. Grade SG-5 (K-value 66-68) is the most popular type, primarily used for manufacturing rigid products such as window profiles, pipes, siding, and rigid packaging. It ensures high mechanical strength and weather resistance for the final products. Grade SG-3 (K-value 72-71) has a higher molecular weight and excellent plasticizer absorption, making it ideal for soft and semi-rigid applications like cable insulation, artificial leather, linoleum, and flexible hoses.
