Chlorinated Paraffins (47%, 52%)

Chlorinated Paraffins (CP-47, CP-52) are viscous, transparent, or yellowish liquids consisting of chlorinated hydrocarbons. In the polymer industry, they perform a dual function: as a secondary plasticizer (to reduce formulation costs) and as a flame retardant. Using Chlorinated Paraffins in combination with primary plasticizers (like DOP or DOTP) significantly lowers the production cost of PVC items such as cable sheaths, linoleum, hoses, and films. Due to their high chlorine content, they effectively inhibit combustion, making materials fire-resistant. They are also used in the production of sealants, adhesives, lubricating oils (as extreme pressure additives), and road marking paints. The product is chemically inert, non-volatile, and resistant to aggressive environments.
